Thorsten Warranty Policy

All Thorsten jewelry is made to the highest standards using quality materials and expert craftsmanship. Our products are guaranteed to be free of defects. Any jewelry that fails to meet our standards of excellence will be replaced under our warranty. If your ring cracks or breaks from accidental damage, it will also be replaced under our warranty terms.

To request warranty work, simply contact the jeweler where you purchased your ring. Your jeweler will work with Thorsten to get your ring replaced if there is a confirmed defect or if you require a size exchange. If your ring style is no longer being manufactured, a similar style may be substituted. Any third-party alterations to the ring, including engraving, will void the warranty. Thorsten will replace the ring only. Custom rings are non-refundable and non-returnable (sale is final). Any engraving or custom work will have to be redone at the customer's expense.

Please note that there is a small processing fee for warranty claims and size exchanges submitted after 45 days of your purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear, including dents, dings, scratches, etc. The warranty strictly covers the ring itself, not the inlay. Inlay damage is considered normal wear and tear. Please be aware that some inlays are exposed and could be more prone to damage.

Stones that fall out during the lifetime of the ring are not covered under warranty. There is a fee to replace any lost or damaged stones. Stolen or lost products are not covered under this warranty.

All alternative metal rings are refundable within 45 days of the date shipped. Refunds do not include engraving, custom fees, or shipping charges. All shipping expenses incurred for any warranty work are the responsibility of the retailer.

All precious metal rings can only be returned within 45 days and must be in new condition. A 20% fee of the original price paid will be applied to all returned precious metal rings. All precious metal ring returns must be approved before being sent in—please contact us first. Any unapproved returns will be sent back to the sender.

Please adhere to all safety instructions and insure your ring when sending it back for any reason. We are not responsible for any loss or damage during shipment, as we do not have control over the item until it is received. Any Customs Taxes incurred through shipping are the sole responsibility of the recipient. For precious metal rings exchanged after 45 days, a 20% warranty fee of the original purchase price will apply.

 


Lifetime Sizing Warranty

Due to the hardness of alternative metals, they cannot be resized like traditional gold or platinum rings. Therefore, if your finger size changes, you will need a brand new ring in the new size. Thorsten will exchange your ring for a different size for as long as you own it.

Simply contact your jeweler to arrange the size exchange. Thorsten will only replace the ring for a different size—not a different style. Any engraving or custom work will have to be redone at the customer's expense.

The sizing warranty does not cover normal wear, including dents, scratches, dings, inlay damage, or any other cosmetic wear. Stones that fall out are not covered under the sizing warranty. Rings that have been altered by a third party, other than engraving, are not eligible for exchange under this policy.

Thorsten Watch Warranty

Thorsten watches are crafted with care and covered by the following warranty for repairs and service:

  • All watches include a 1-Year Limited Warranty beginning on the date of delivery.
  • Days 1-45:
    Watches may be submitted for warranty service with hassle-free coverage at no charge for eligible manufacturer defects.
  • Days 46-365:
    Watches remain eligible for manufacturer warranty service and approved claims are subject to a $20 processing fee.
  • After 365 Days:
    Warranty coverage expires and service is no longer included under warranty.
  • Warranty Coverage (Eligible claims may include):
    • Manufacturer defects in movement or internal components
    • Defective clasps, crowns, or hardware under normal use
    • Issues related to workmanship discovered during the warranty period
  • Warranty Exclusions (Warranty does not cover):
    • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, or surface damage
    • Battery replacement unless defective upon arrival
    • Water damage unless the model is specifically rated and used within stated limits
    • Broken crystals, straps, or bands caused by impact or misuse
    • Lost or stolen watches
    • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering
    • Damage caused by accidents, neglect, or improper care

Important Notes:

  • Proof of purchase may be required for all claims.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping items to our service team unless otherwise stated.
  • If a warranty issue cannot be repaired, a replacement of equal value may be provided at our discretion.
